Well, here we go! As you may or may not know (sorry mom), Bob and I have felt pulled to do something different. Go somewhere different. Somehow live our lives differently. I have felt God challenging me for quite a while. But in typical Janet fashion, I need to hear it over and over again. I have been in a rut for quite a while. I haven't been as close to God as I should be. Not for lack of trying, mind you, but I am the master of excuses when it comes to getting up early or trying to find that quiet time to spend with just Him and I.

Recently I was sitting and just reflecting. I realized that we have become too comfortable. My kids have developed a sense of enititlement. My husband has worked very hard to provide us with a very comfortable lifestyle and I love him for that, but I need something more, something that is more fulfilling than just the "stuff" we accumulate.

As anyone who knows me well knows, I have a certain wanderlust. I can't seem to stayin one place for too long. I love to travel, to explore. Well, why not take that and turn it into something productive and fun! Lightbulb! Why not get an RV, sell everything, homeschool the kids and travel the country volunteering, doing random acts of kindness, and exploring things we never imagined we would be able to. Crazy, right?! Alright, call us what you want, but we have committed to doing this. Everyone is on board. Now it's just a matter of Gods timing. Many things have to fall into place andwe covet your prayers. We are excited to begin this journey of growth, self discovery, adventure and mission. I will keep you all updated as this process unfolds. Love you all!
